My parents drained my backup account for Greece after telling me vacations were wasteful. Dad threw a rock through my windshield and yelled, “That money was ours.” I called police and showed the receipt trail: every flight, suite, and spa booking carried my name, and Mom went pale.

That afternoon, the refund started processing. The windshield estimate came in right after it, and I sent it to the officer handling the report.
