In any case, this is the result of a study led by cognitive linguist Bodo Winter, a researcher at the University of Birmingham, and published last fall by the British website My 1st Years.
The researchers presented a panel of volunteers with a hundred of the most common girl’s names. The volunteers listened attentively to each name before the scientists meticulously analyzed their emotional reactions.
