5 Early Signs of Cancer Development in the Body

5 Early Signs of Cancer

Introduction

Cancer is a life-threatening disease that often develops silently, with symptoms appearing only at an advanced stage. However, the body may have warning signs that, if recognized in time, can allow early detection and better treatment results. Although these symptoms do not always mean the presence of cancer, any persistent and unexplained change in the body should never be ignored.

Here are five early signs of cancer that require medical consultation.

1. Unexplained weight loss

Sudden and involuntary weight loss of 5 kg or more, without changing diet or physical activity, can be an early sign of cancer. This is because cancer cells change metabolism, resulting in increased energy expenditure.

Cancers that may be associated with unexplained weight loss:

Cancer of the stomach, pancreas or liver (affecting digestion and metabolism)

Lung or esophagus cancer (disrupts swallowing and appetite)

Blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma) (affecting metabolism and the immune system)

If you notice persistent weight loss for no apparent reason, consult your doctor.

2. Constant fatigue and weakness

A feeling of constant fatigue, even after a sufficient rest, can be a sign of cancer alert. Unlike normal fatigue, cancer-related fatigue is persistent, intense, and does not improve with sleep or rest.
