Diana did not answer.
Audrey thought of the spreadsheet sent under her credentials.
The warrants executed early.
The timing of the raid.
Martin had known about the wedding.
He had approved Audrey’s decision to attend, even though she was in the final weeks of pregnancy.
He had told her that staying close to the family might reveal something useful.
Had he sent her there because he trusted her?
Or because he knew she would be trapped inside the estate when everything began?
Audrey touched her stomach.
The baby shifted beneath her hand.
A decision formed inside her.
Not anger.
Clarity.
“Diana, you cannot send this through the department network.”
“I know.”
“Not the video. Not the guest list. Nothing.”
“I’ll isolate the files.”
“And Martin cannot know what we found.”
Diana studied her.
“You understand what you’re asking?”
“Yes.”
“You’re asking me to conceal evidence from the director of your division.”
