I set my phone on the center console and reviewed the facts.
Jessica had authorized nearly twenty people to enter my house without asking me.
Ryan had publicly ordered me off the property.
He had confirmed, in front of witnesses, that he intended to keep using the house after I told him I was the owner.
I did not need to return and argue.
I needed to handle the situation correctly.
First, I called my attorney.
I explained that I had arrived at my private residence and found it occupied by relatives who had been given access without my approval. I described Ryan’s demand that I leave and Jessica’s refusal to correct him.
I kept my voice even and answered each question directly.
The call was not dramatic. There were no threats and no angry speeches.
There was only a clear account of who owned the property, who had been given a spare key, and what had happened after I arrived.
