My husband slipped something into my soup, thinking I wasn’t looking; when he stepped out, I switched our bowls; what unfolded 30 minutes later left me in shock.

They were poisoning me with arsenic.

“I’ve been putting it in her morning coffee and dinner for almost two months now,” Marcus continued. “She’s losing weight and getting weaker every day. Soon it will look like she died from stress and overwork.”

Sophia leaned closer to Marcus and kissed him on the lips.

Not a family kiss.

A romantic kiss between two people who were in love.

“I can’t wait until we can be together openly,” she whispered. “Once Victoria is gone, we’ll have all her money and her hotels. We can get married and live in that beautiful penthouse in Miami.”

My own sister was planning to marry my husband after they murdered me.

Marcus pulled out his phone and showed Sophia something on the screen.

“Look, I’ve been forging Victoria’s signature on these documents. When she dies, you’ll be listed as the beneficiary of all her businesses instead of me. That way, no one will suspect that I killed her for money.”
