He explained that on the evening of the wedding, he had overheard an argument between Adrian and Eleanor.
They were concerned that I might discover the nature of the documents before the remaining transactions were completed.
Victor said he heard them discussing ways to keep me from contacting my employer or seeking independent advice.
He also claimed that Adrian had arranged for someone to accompany me during the honeymoon and monitor my communications.
Victor could not establish that anyone intended to physically harm me.
