What Causes These Tiny White Bumps?
Several factors can contribute to the development of milia. Dead skin cells that fail to shed properly can become trapped beneath the skin. Certain skincare products, especially thick creams or heavy oils, may also increase the likelihood of clogged pores and trapped keratin
In some cases, milia develop after skin irritation, sun damage, burns, or cosmetic procedures. Newborn babies commonly experience milia as well, although the condition often disappears naturally without treatment.
For adults, the appearance of multiple white bumps on the eyelids may simply be a result of normal skin turnover rather than an underlying health problem.
